Osun 2026: Oyetola Reaffirms APC’s Commitment to Return to Power
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, on Monday reaffirmed the readiness of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return to government in Osun State in 2026.
Oyetola made the statement during a special prayer session held in his hometown of Iragbiji to mark his 71st birthday, organized by friends and political associates.
The former governor praised the unity and cohesion within the state chapter of the party and acknowledged the support of party loyalists. “Your commitment to the unity and progress of the party keeps us going,” he said.
He urged party leaders and members to remain steadfast in their efforts to reclaim government next year. Oyetola also expressed appreciation to the organizers of the birthday event, describing the gesture as meaningful.
At the event, Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muhyideen Salman, addressed politicians and officeholders, stressing the importance of equality, fairness, and sincerity in governance. The cleric commended Oyetola for his philanthropic contributions and encouraged generosity among leaders.
Family, friends, and political associates attended the prayer and celebrations at the Ilerioluwa campaign office in Ogo-Oluwa.
