Celebrating 15 Years: Oyetola Gives N20m to Honour Ataoja of Osogbo
The immediate past Governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola CON, has donated N20 million to support the launch of a commemorative book marking the 15th coronation anniversary of the Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olaonipekun.
The donation was made on Friday at the book launch ceremony held at De-Distinguished Event Centre, Osogbo, in honour of the revered monarch.
Representing the Minister, the Executive Director, Marine Operations at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Engr. Olalekan Badmus, popularly known as Omo Oloore, congratulated the Ataoja on the landmark anniversary.
Speaking on behalf of Oyetola, Badmus said, “I am delighted to witness this joyous occasion celebrating our father, the Ataoja of Osogbo. As a token of our heartfelt wishes, we are donating N20 million to support the launch of this commemorative book.”
The Minister prayed that Almighty Allah continues to bless the Ataoja with wisdom, divine guidance, and knowledge as he leads the people of Osogbo and the state capital.
