ADC to Root Itself Nationally, Aregbesola Tells Osun Stakeholders
The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola, has called on members of the party and the wider public to actively participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
Speaking at the monthly stakeholders’ meeting of the Omoluabi Progressives, an affiliate of the ADC, in Ilesa, Osun State, Aregbesola underscored the importance of voter registration as a strategic step towards the party’s broader political objectives.
“Our message today hinges on the need to continuously galvanise people, particularly those in our party, to participate in the CVR process, as it is vital to the bigger journey ahead,” he said.
The former minister reiterated the commitment of the ADC to entrench itself as a formidable force on the national stage, stressing that the party was optimistic about its chances in future elections.
He assured party faithful that the ADC was focused on restoring what he described as a “People Friendly Government (PFG)” that prioritises societal development and improves the quality of life of Nigerians.
“We are committed and working hard to firmly root our party at the national level. We are more than optimistic that victory is ours,” he added.
The Omoluabi Progressives stakeholders’ meeting drew leaders and members of the ADC across Osun, with discussions centred on mobilisation, grassroots engagement, and strategies for strengthening the party’s structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
