Anambra APC Launches Governorship Campaign Councils Ahead of November Poll
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State has inaugurated its Governorship Campaign Councils across polling units, wards, and local government areas ahead of the November 8 election.
Party candidate Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu said the councils, including 30 members per polling unit and 25 per ward and local government, are aimed at mobilising voters and spreading the party’s vision. The councils will feed into a State Campaign Council to coordinate efforts across the state.
Ukachukwu noted the meeting also reviewed challenges from the August 16 by-elections, citing voter intimidation and alleged manipulation by the ruling APGA and security operatives. “With proper coordination and strategy, we are confident of overcoming these challenges,” he said.
APC State Chairman Chief Basil Ejidike urged party leaders and elders to ensure active participation, stressing the party’s determination to secure victory and take over Government House on November 8.
