Content Creator Mandy Kiss Withdraws Controversial Guinness World Record Stunt Amid Calls for Arrest

Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, widely known as Mandy Kiss, a Nigerian social media content creator, has abandoned her plan to attempt a Guinness World Record by engaging in sexual activity with 100 men within 24 hours.

In a recent post on Instagram, Mandy Kiss revealed that the scheme was never genuine and was intended solely as a publicity stunt to attract social media engagement.

The controversy began earlier this week when the content creator announced her planned event, scheduled for October 30 in Ikorodu, Lagos, to her substantial online following. Guinness World Records quickly distanced itself from the announcement, stating that “This is not a record we monitor.”

The announcement drew sharp criticism, including a letter from Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Ogun State, who called on Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to intervene. The traditional ruler described the planned attempt as “disgraceful, dangerous” and a potential “embarrassment” to the community and the country. He also requested that Mandy Kiss undergo a drug test and psychiatric evaluation, citing moral concerns for Nigerian youths.

Responding to the backlash, Mandy Kiss took to Instagram to clarify her intentions. She admitted the plan was never real and was meant purely to generate engagement. “I am playing. Why arrest me? What happened? How much do I have in my account? I do not have money to pay lawyer. I cannot write statement I am just playing. I am only catching cruise,” she stated.

She further pleaded for public understanding, explaining that the stunt was an attempt to regain social media attention and that she could never physically carry out the act. “I can not sleep with 100 men. Do not take me to prison. It is just bragging. I can never do that. I will die if I try it. I cannot even sleep with three men and survive it. Please, my parents do not have money,” she added.

The episode underscores ongoing concerns over the content and influence of social media personalities in Nigeria, highlighting the tension between online fame and societal expectations.
