Osun Decides 2026: INEC Uploads 402 of 3,763 Polling Unit Results
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun uploading results from Saturday’s Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal.
Checks on the INEC Results Viewing Portal as of 4:03 p.m. showed that results from 402 polling units had been uploaded out of 3,763 expected results, representing 10.68 per cent.
Data on the IReV portal showed that the latest upload was recorded at 4:03:10 p.m. from Polling Unit 29/02/04/006, as collation continued across the state’s 30 local government areas.
The election features incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Oyebamiji, African Democratic Congress candidate Najeem Salaam and other candidates.
The IReV platform, introduced by INEC to enhance transparency in result collation, allows users to view polling-unit-level results as they are uploaded.
The commission’s Result Stats window showed figures updating as fresh results were uploaded, with users able to refresh the page for the latest information.
As of press time, the uploads remained at an early stage, with more results expected as collation progresses at the ward and local government levels.
