Ronaldo sets new football record after Al-Nassr clinch Saudi Pro League title

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new football record after helping his club win the Saudi Pro League title.

Al-Nassr secured the league crown on Thursday following a 4-2 victory over Damac.

Ronaldo scored twice in the encounter as Jorge Jesus’ side finished ahead of title rivals Al-Hilal.

Sadio Mane opened the scoring in the first half before Kingsley Coman and Ronaldo added three more goals to seal the victory.

According to Marca, Ronaldo has now become the first player in football history to win both the league title and top scorer award at least once in four different countries.

The Portuguese star achieved the feat during spells with Manchester United in England, Real Madrid in Spain, Juventus in Italy and Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

The 41-year-old forward is expected to next focus on international duty as he prepares to captain Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup scheduled to begin next month.
