The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released its timetable for the 2026 primary elections, fixing its presidential nomination form at ₦100 million.

The party disclosed this in a statement on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.

According to the timetable, the sale of nomination forms will run from May 5 to May 10, while submission of completed forms is scheduled for May 11 to May 13, 2026.

Screening of aspirants will take place between May 14 and May 15, with results to be published on May 17. Appeals will be heard from May 18 to May 19, while the final list of cleared aspirants will be released on May 20.

The party said primary elections will begin on May 21 with State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate contests, followed by governorship primaries on May 22. The presidential primary is slated for May 25.

This will be followed by a National Executive Committee meeting on May 26 and a Special National Convention on May 27 for final ratifications.

ADC also announced its fee structure, pegging governorship forms at ₦50 million, Senate at ₦20 million, House of Representatives at ₦10 million, and State Assembly at ₦3 million.

The party said it would offer a 50 per cent discount on nomination forms for youths, and 25 per cent for women and persons with disabilities, to encourage broader participation.

With the pricing, ADC joins the All Progressives Congress (APC) in setting its presidential and governorship forms at ₦100 million and ₦50 million respectively.
