In a move aimed at strengthening public education in Osun State, the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has officially presented appointment letters to newly recruited teachers selected to fill vacancies in the state’s public secondary schools.

The recruitment exercise, executed under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, drew qualified candidates from all 30 local government areas, reflecting the state’s ongoing commitment to creating employment opportunities for youths.

Speaking in Osogbo, TESCOM Chairman, Comrade Tope Adéyemí, congratulated the successful applicants, urging them to approach their roles with dedication and professionalism. “These appointments are not just letters; they are a call to service. We expect our teachers to contribute meaningfully to the academic growth of students and the overall development of education in Osun State,” Adéyemí said.

The TESCOM boss also expressed gratitude to all applicants for their patience during the rigorous recruitment process and reminded the new teachers that their duties carry a significant responsibility toward the future of the state’s education system.

The newly appointed educators have been directed to report to their respective schools and commence duties without delay, reinforcing the government’s mission to elevate educational standards across Osun State.
