Ronaldo Strike: Piers Morgan Breaks Silence, Reveals Al-Nassr Star’s Key Demand

Cristiano Ronaldo’s reported refusal to feature in Al-Nassr’s last two Saudi Pro League fixtures has sparked fresh controversy, with British broadcaster Piers Morgan shedding light on the forward’s alleged grievance with club authorities.

Ronaldo was absent from Al-Nassr’s recent matches against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad, fueling reports that the Portuguese captain is protesting what he considers unequal treatment in the league’s transfer dealings.

According to sources, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is displeased with the Public Investment Fund (PIF) for allegedly failing to strengthen Al-Nassr during the winter transfer window, while rival clubs — particularly Al-Hilal — received significant backing.

Reacting to criticism directed at Ronaldo on social media, Morgan defended the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, insisting his impact on Saudi football has been unmatched.

“Cristiano has revolutionised Saudi football in a way nobody else could have done,” Morgan wrote on his X account while responding to a critic.

He added that Ronaldo’s position is driven by fairness rather than rebellion, stating that the forward is seeking equal competitive conditions across the league.

“He just wants a level playing field,” Morgan said, stressing further that he fully supports the player’s stance.

The development has intensified debate among football stakeholders, with divided opinions over whether Ronaldo’s reported action is justified or damaging to the league’s image.
