The Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs and member representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has expressed grief over the death of renowned engineer, Engr. Tunde Ponle, describing it as a painful loss to Osun State and the nation.

In a condolence message issued on Sunday, Hon. Oke said the late Ponle was a distinguished professional whose life was defined by dedication, integrity and selfless service to humanity.

According to him, Engr. Ponle’s contributions to societal development and his unwavering commitment to excellence in his profession would remain enduring legacies worthy of emulation.

He commiserated with the Ponle family, particularly Chief Mrs. Titi Laoye-Ponle, as well as friends and associates of the deceased, urging them to find comfort in the impactful life he lived and the positive marks he left behind.

Hon. Oke prayed that God grants the family the strength to bear the loss and grants the departed soul eternal rest.

Engr. Ponle’s passing, he added, leaves a vacuum that will be difficult to fill, noting that Osun State has lost a committed technocrat and community asset.
