The institution also warned prospective candidates against individuals or platforms claiming to have access to admission slots, preferential consideration or opportunities to influence the admission process.
“Prospective candidates are therefore advised to exercise caution and avoid individuals or platforms claiming to have access to admission slots, preferential consideration or opportunities to influence the admission process,” the university said.
Candidates were advised to obtain admission-related information only through the university’s official website and verified social media platforms.
The university said it “will not be responsible for any misinformation, financial loss or other consequences arising from reliance on information obtained from unauthorised sources.”
UNIOSUN also urged candidates to disregard unofficial admission-related messages circulating on social media platforms, WhatsApp groups and other online channels unless such information could be traced to its verified communication channels.
