Tinubu meets Macron for private dinner in Paris

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday held a private dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.

 

The meeting was disclosed on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on X.

 

Onanuga said the meeting reflected the longstanding relationship between Nigeria and France and their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

 

The meeting comes as both countries continue to maintain diplomatic and economic ties across areas including trade, security, education and investment.
