U-20 WWC: Falconets to face Poland, Korea Republic in friendlies

Nigeria’s Falconets will face Poland and Korea Republic in international friendly matches as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The team, led by coach Moses Aduku, are currently preparing for the biennial tournament in Abuja and are expected to travel to Poland on Monday, August 24, for their final preparations.

The two friendly matches are expected to help the Falconets fine-tune their strategies and assess their readiness ahead of the competition.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.

The Falconets will begin their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, September 7.

They will face China at the same venue three days later before rounding off their group-stage campaign against New Caledonia at Stadion Miejski ŁKS on Sunday, September 13.
