C&S Movement Worldwide Spiritual Leader Emmanuel Alogbo Dies at 93

The Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has announced the death of its Spiritual Father, His Most Eminence, Prophet Emmanuel Alogbo, at the age of 93.

The church disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by its Secretary-General, Prophet Anthony Olusesan Samaye, that Alogbo died peacefully in the early hours of Thursday at his residence in Lagos.

According to the statement, the revered cleric passed away at about 2:10 a.m., surrounded by members of his family and domestic staff.

“With gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent, on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the entire church, I write to inform you all that our Spiritual Father… was called to glory in the early hours of today, July 30, 2026, at about 2:10 a.m.,” the statement read.

The church described the late prophet as a devoted spiritual leader whose life was dedicated to the service of God and humanity.

It announced that prayer sessions would be held daily for seven days from 5:00 p.m. at his residence located at Plot 1, Alogbo Close, off Ahmadiyya Bus Stop, Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Lagos.

The statement added that details of his funeral arrangements would be announced later.

The church also urged members to remain steadfast in faith during the mourning period.

“May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may God grant the church the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement added.

Prophet Alogbo led the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous Christian denominations, and was widely regarded as one of the country’s longest-serving church leaders.

During his leadership, he played a significant role in the church’s spiritual growth and expansion within Nigeria and beyond.

His death marks the end of an era for the church, with members expected to gather in the coming days to pay their last respects to the late spiritual leader.
