Ekiti Decides 2026: ADC wins first polling unit

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has secured its first polling unit victory in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election.

According to the result sheet, the ADC won Ajagbala Hall Polling Unit in Okeruku Ward 02, Ikere Local Government Area, polling 39 votes.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) came second with 29 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) finished third with 17 votes.

The result is among the first to emerge as collation begins across polling units in the state.

Earlier, ADC governorship candidate Dare Bejide alleged that one of his supporters was attacked during a clash over alleged vote buying, although voting later resumed after security was reinforced.

More results are expected as the electoral process continues across Ekiti State.
