Arsenal set four records after Burnley victory

Arsenal set four records on Monday night following their 1-0 Premier League victory over Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.

Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the match with a first-half header as Mikel Arteta’s side secured another crucial win in the title race.

According to Opta, Arsenal have now kept 32 clean sheets in all competitions this season — six more than any other club across Europe’s top five leagues.

The Gunners have also become the only Premier League side to win all four matches since their 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.

During the same run, Arsenal are also the only team yet to concede a goal in the league.

The victory over Burnley further saw Arsenal equal the record for most Premier League matches in a 38-game season in which a team scored from set-pieces, excluding penalties.

Arteta’s men have now scored set-piece goals in 19 different league matches this season.

Arsenal are currently five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

The North London club will face Crystal Palace in their final match of the season, with victory enough to secure the league title.
