‘My governor is aware’ — Stunted man, Buba, completes APC screening for Reps race

Mohammed Sadis Buba, an aspirant seeking the All Progressives Congress ticket for the Sabon Gari Zaria Federal Constituency seat in Kaduna State, has completed the party’s screening exercise ahead of the 2027 elections.

 

Buba, who is physically challenged, told the screening committee that Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, was aware of his decision to contest for the House of Representatives seat.

 

Speaking after the exercise, the 30-year-old aspirant said his ambition was driven by calls from people in his constituency who wanted him to represent them.

 

“It’s not about me, it’s my people that called me to serve,” he said.

 

Buba disclosed that he would face an incumbent lawmaker during the APC primary election but insisted he was prepared for the contest.

 

“My people called me to come and serve and I am ready to serve. We are only two running for the APC ticket. My opponent is a serving member,” he stated.
