Faleke picks presidential forms for Tinubu

A lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms on behalf of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, formally presented the forms to Faleke in Abuja on Tuesday, marking the official commencement of Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Faleke, who is also the founder of the Tinubu Support Groups, completed the process with the payment of N100 million for the forms.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for January 16, 2027, while governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections are set for February 6, 2027.

INEC also fixed the timeline for party primaries and dispute resolution between April 23 and May 30, 2026.

Campaigns for presidential and National Assembly elections will begin on August 19, 2026, while those for governorship and state assembly elections will commence on September 9, 2026.
