Oke made the charge on Tuesday at a strategic stakeholdersโ meeting held at Ileri Oluwa House, Osogbo, which brought together local government political office holders, including council chairmen, vice chairmen, councillors, supervisors, special advisers, and other grassroots mobilisers across the 30 local government areas of the state.
The meeting, which commenced at about 10:00 a.m., was convened as part of renewed consultations aimed at strengthening the partyโs grassroots structure and ensuring effective coordination ahead of the election.
Prominent APC leaders at the session included Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello, Ambassador Niniola, Dr. Oyebade Adegboyega, Prof. Siji Olamiju, Hon. Remi Omowaiye, Alhaja Kudirat Fakokunde, Alhaji Kamoru Lawal, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni, Hon. Wale Adedoyin, and Hon. Adeniran Ibitoye, among others.
Addressing participants, Oke stressed the need for aggressive mobilisation, noting that the APC was fully prepared to deploy necessary resources to ensure victory for its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. He also assured party members of safety and coordination throughout the campaign period, pledging a peaceful and inclusive electoral process.
Also speaking, Hon. Remi Omowaiye urged all political office holders to take ownership of the campaign within their domains and intensify voter engagement down to polling unit levels.
In his contribution, the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun State chapter, Hon. Abiodun Idowu, assured the campaign council of the readiness of local government structures to deliver victory for the APC, pledging full mobilisation across all wards.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment from stakeholders to work in unity towards securing victory for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election.
