Atiku disclosed the meeting in a post on his X handle on Saturday, describing the visit as significant.
“Yesterday evening, I received stakeholders of the Adamawa State chapter of the ADC at my Abuja residence, a visit that deeply touched me,” he said.
He charged the new state leadership to bridge internal divisions and foster cohesion within the party.
“I reminded the new state leadership that unity is now their sacred duty: to heal divisions, carry everyone along, and lead with fairness,” he added.
The former vice president also expressed confidence in the ADC’s prospects, positioning the party as a credible alternative ahead of future elections.
“I remain convinced that the ADC has risen as Nigeria’s true opposition force… ready to challenge and defeat the failing APC in the elections ahead,” Atiku said.
