Oke made the appeal during a strategic meeting with entrepreneur and community leader, Mr. Kehinde Raji, popularly known as Araj, at his residence, Kejebu Villa, Osogbo.
He noted that while not all influential individuals may seek elective positions, their roles as opinion leaders and grassroots mobilisers remain vital in shaping political outcomes and driving collective progress.
According to him, the support of private sector stakeholders is crucial to strengthening the campaign of the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
“Not everyone will go into politics, but their contributions from the private sector can significantly impact a cause that serves the collective interest of the people,” he said.
He further explained that increased participation would ensure that supporters and associates of private sector leaders are properly integrated into the broader political structure.
Oke added that the party remains committed to building an inclusive campaign that accommodates both political actors and key stakeholders across different sectors.
Reacting, Media Aide to the Director-General, Omolebi-Sunday Segun Tunde, emphasised the importance of the engagement, describing it as a step towards unifying critical stakeholders for electoral success.
“This engagement reflects our commitment to reaching out to key stakeholders whose roles are indispensable in delivering victory for our candidate,” he stated.
