Confirming the development, the Media Office of the Director-General of the Campaign Council, Hon. Oluwole Oke, through its spokesperson, Omolebi-Sunday Segun Tunde, said the donation would strengthen the party’s logistics and expand its reach across communities. He noted that the gesture reflects growing confidence among stakeholders in the candidacy of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and the APC’s chances in the poll.
The donation was announced during a strategic meeting attended by key party figures, including the governorship candidate, Oyebamiji; his running mate, Adereti Kayode Benjamin; the state chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal; and other prominent stakeholders.
Speaking at the meeting, Lawal commended the donor for the intervention, describing it as a timely contribution to the party’s mobilisation efforts, while offering prayers for continued support and success.
Also addressing party members, Oke praised the donor’s commitment, stressing that such support underscores the alignment of party faithful with the campaign’s vision for Osun State. He added that the council remains focused on delivering a people-oriented campaign anchored on accessibility and effective engagement.
In his remarks, Oyebamiji expressed optimism about the party’s prospects, urging members to intensify grassroots mobilisation and maintain unity across wards and local governments.
