Nasarawa Governor endorses Senator Aliyu Wadada as preferred APC successor

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has announced Senator Aliyu Wadada as his preferred candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket ahead of the 2027 elections.

Sule made the announcement during a meeting with political appointees at the Government House in Lafia.

Senator Wadada, who represents Nasarawa West in the 10th Senate, recently defected from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to the APC as part of his bid to contest the governorship seat.

The development comes as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
