Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed that the exercise will hold on the last Saturday of every month between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
The announcement follows the symbolic relaunch of the sanitation programme at Idi-Oro in Mushin Local Government Area.
Wahab called on residents to actively participate by cleaning their surroundings, clearing drainage channels, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
He stressed that maintaining a clean environment is a collective responsibility essential for a healthier and flood-resilient Lagos.
The commissioner added that compliance with the exercise would be strictly enforced by the state government.
