United States President Donald Trump has declared that only the “unconditional surrender” of Iran would bring an end to the escalating conflict involving the Islamic Republic

Trump made the statement on Friday in a post on his Truth Social platform, insisting that Washington would not negotiate any settlement short of total capitulation from Tehran.

“There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER,” Trump wrote.

His comments came amid intensified military activity in the region, with Israel reportedly carrying out strikes on regime-linked targets in Tehran as well as Hezbollah positions in Beirut.

At the same time, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth indicated that American military operations could soon intensify.

According to him, US strikes against Iran were “about to surge dramatically,” raising fears of a wider regional escalation.

Despite the hardline stance, Trump said the United States and its allies would assist Iran in rebuilding its economy if the country complied with the demand and installed a new leadership acceptable to the international community.

He said such support could help bring Iran “back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.”

However, the US president stressed that the assistance would depend on Iran installing what he described as “a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s).”

Trump ended his message with a slogan echoing his long-running political branding, writing: “MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!).”

The remarks mark one of the most direct demands yet from Washington regarding the future of Iran’s leadership amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
