Oyebamiji Hails Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ Agenda, Pledges APC Victory in Osun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, on Tuesday commended the socio-economic reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying they have been yielding positive results and positioning Nigeria for long-term growth.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Osun State Local Government Renewed Hope Ambassadors at the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Office, Ileri-Oluwa House, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, Oyebamiji described the initiative as one of the best in Nigeria’s history, applauding the President’s commitment to sustainable development.

According to Oyebamiji, President Tinubu’s policies—including the removal of fuel subsidies, unification of the foreign exchange rate, and tax restructuring—have strengthened local manufacturing, agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and the power sector, attracting foreign investments and boosting economic resilience.

“The President and National Leader of our party, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), has launched multiple initiatives that have projected Nigeria as an emerging and growing economy, recognized by the IMF, World Bank, and other leading global financial institutions,” Oyebamiji said.

He further highlighted programs such as NELFUND, consumer credit schemes, and local government autonomy, noting that over 50 initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda are designed to improve the quality of life for Nigerians.

Oyebamiji expressed confidence in the newly inaugurated local government ambassadors, stating they would help bring the benefits of these programs closer to the grassroots. “A vote for AMBO means these programs can extend to Osun State, making their impact more tangible to our people,” he said.

Earlier, Osun State Renewed Hope Ambassador and former Information Commissioner, Hon. Sunday Akere, reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring APC’s victory in both the forthcoming governorship election and the general elections. “We are inaugurating these ambassadors to strengthen party engagement, grassroots mobilization, and representation across the state,” Akere said.

Represented by the party’s treasurer, Hon. Femi Kujembola, APC State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, commended party members for their unflinching support and promised continued dividends of democracy under President Tinubu’s administration.

The event drew party leaders and members from across Osun State.
