The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mr. Sani Musa Daura as his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters.
A statement on Wednesday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media described Daura as a veteran civil servant with over 30 years of experience in the FCTA Protocol Department.
Sani Musa Daura, who rose to the position of Director, FCT Protocol in 2019, is set to retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026. His appointment as Senior Special Assistant takes effect immediately upon his retirement.
The appointment underscores Wike’s commitment to leveraging experienced hands in key administrative roles within the FCT.
