Governors of the Southern region are set to convene in Iperu, Ogun State, today to deliberate on pressing national issues and explore ways to enhance regional collaboration and development.

The announcement was made by the Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, via his official X handle. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Governor’s Residence, Iperu.

Following the forum, a joint engagement with members of the Southern Traditional Rulers Council will hold at 1:00 p.m. This gathering aims to foster cooperation between traditional institutions and political leadership while providing a platform to discuss matters of common regional interest.
