PDP Commences Governorship Primary in Ekiti
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commenced its governorship primary election in preparation for the 2026 governorship poll in Ekiti State.
The exercise is taking place at the Vino Event Centre, located along Afao Road in Ado Ekiti, the state capital. Delegates from all 16 local government areas of the state are already at the venue, awaiting the official commencement of voting.
Members of the Electoral Panel were sighted arriving a few minutes before press time, though their identities had not been confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
The exercise is expected to determine the party’s standard-bearer for next year’s governorship election.
