— Swearing-in holds Thursday in Ado-Ekiti
Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the appointment of ten new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.
According to a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Mr. Olayinka Oyebode, the appointments are part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership within the civil service and enhance efficient service delivery.
Oyebode noted that the new Permanent Secretaries emerged after a rigorous examination and selection process aimed at ensuring merit-based elevation.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are: Engr. (Dr) S.O. Ibijola, Mr. Olaonipekun Eweje, Dr. Sunday Omoya, Mr. Morakinyo Oluwatoyin Akilo, Mr. Adelusi Adebanji Lateef, Pharm. Ejimokun Bunmi Peter, Mr. Olufemi Babaseinde Adediran, Mr. Ayoola Clement I., Mr. Bayode Ogunmola Lawrence, and Engr. Toyin Mercy Ojelabi-Pedro.
The statement added that the swearing-in ceremony will hold on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, by 2:00 p.m.
Governor Oyebanji, who has repeatedly emphasized professionalism and meritocracy in the civil service, is expected to charge the new appointees to uphold integrity, diligence, and accountability in the discharge of their duties.
