NABTEB Reaffirms Commitment To Quality In TVET Certification — Registrar

The Registrar/Chief Executive of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, has restated the board’s commitment to sustaining the highest standards in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) certification across the country.
Mohammed gave the assurance at the Federal Ministry of Education’s 3rd Quarter Global Ministerial SERVICOM Committee meeting hosted by NABTEB in Edo State on Tuesday.
He said the board will continue to strengthen its internal processes to guarantee the integrity, credibility and relevance of its certificates, noting that sustained quality assurance remains central to employability and the market value of NABTEB qualifications.
The registrar said the theme of the meeting, “Bridging Service Delivery Gaps in Technical and Vocational Education: Enhancing Standards, Certification, and Employability,” underscores the strategic role of TVET in driving economic productivity and national development.
He further highlighted NABTEB’s core mandate which, according to him, includes the conduct of credible business and technical examinations, standard setting, assessment monitoring, and the issuance of nationally recognised and internationally competitive certificates.
