Former Senator and outspoken commentator, Shehu Sani, has raised concerns over the potential fallout if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu fails to deliver on his promises. According to Sani, a collapse in Tinubu’s administration could have far-reaching consequences, making it extremely difficult for any successor to effectively lead the nation.

Speaking at a political forum on Tuesday, Sani stressed that the performance of the current government is pivotal not just for Tinubu’s legacy, but for the stability of Nigeria’s democratic process. “If this administration falters, the next president will inherit a crippled system that will be difficult to manage,” he warned.

He called on government officials to prioritize good governance and accountability, noting that public trust in leadership is critical for the continuity of democratic institutions.
