ADC Constitutes Committees, Fixes Ekiti, Osun Primaries
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated new committees aimed at rebranding the party and reviewing its constitution, the party disclosed yesterday.
Speaking with journalists after the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting in Abuja, ADC National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, said the NWC also approved the establishment of Policy Advocacy and Membership Registration committees.
Abdullahi added that the NWC had set dates for the Ekiti and Osun state primaries. The Ekiti primaries are scheduled to hold between October 10 and November 20, while Osun will conduct its primaries between November and December.
He further noted that, given that many state chapters currently have only chairmen in place, the NWC would issue transitional operational guidelines to ensure smooth party administration ahead of the forthcoming congresses.
