BREAKING: Senate Passes Second Reading of Bill to Establish FMC Osogbo

The Senate on Tuesday passed the Federal Medical Centre Act (Amendment) Bill 2025 for second reading, paving the way for the establishment of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Osogbo in Osun State.

The bill, sponsored by Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla, representing Osun Central Senatorial District, seeks to strengthen healthcare delivery and expand federal medical infrastructure in the state.

The development marks a major step toward improving access to quality healthcare services for residents of Osun and neighbouring states.
