AbdulRazaq Okays 2025 Promotion Exercise for TESCOM Staff

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the conduct of the 2025 promotion examination for all staff of the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) who are due for advancement.

The Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, made this known in Ilorin on Monday while addressing management staff of the commission in his office.

Abubakar described the approval as another demonstration of Governor AbdulRazaq’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and career progression of teachers across the state.

He recalled that upon assuming office in 2019, the governor had cleared and cash-backed outstanding promotions for teachers covering 2015, 2016, and 2017, and had since sustained the practice by cash-backing subsequent promotions from 2021 to 2024.

The TESCOM boss urged all affected staff to remain dedicated to their duties in order to sustain the gains of effective service delivery being championed by the present administration.

Abubakar added that the government would continue to prioritize the welfare of teachers as part of efforts to boost motivation and enhance productivity in the education sector.

He assured that the date for the promotion examination would be announced in due course.
