Breaking: Bandits Abduct Businessman in Midnight Raid on Kwara Community

BREAKING: Bandits Abduct Businessman in Midnight Raid on Kwara Community

Armed bandits on Saturday night carried out a daring abduction in Tsaragi community, Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State, kidnapping a prominent businessman, Suleiman Ndana, popularly known as “Manager.”

Patriotic Insights News reports that the gunmen struck around midnight, firing sporadically into the air to terrorize residents before storming Ndana’s residence. Eyewitnesses say the attack appeared meticulously planned, with the assailants heading directly for the businessman before whisking him away to an unknown location.

A source within the community told Patriotic Insights News that Ndana may have been specifically targeted because of his recently completed fuel station at Yana Kokonna, Tsaragi.

“The attack occurred around 12 a.m. The gunmen came in large numbers, shooting into the air, and went straight for Manager. They took him away, and since then, we have had no information about his whereabouts,” the source revealed.

The incident has sown fear and tension in Tsaragi and neighboring villages, highlighting the increasing audacity of criminal gangs operating in both northern and southern parts of Kwara State. Business owners, farmers, and even traditional rulers have become frequent targets of ransom-seeking bandits.

This attack follows a similar raid in Kpankparagi community in Edu Local Government Area, where a woman was abducted in a midnight assault. Community sources confirmed that gunmen stormed the village in the early hours of Wednesday, firing sporadically to create panic before abducting their victim.

Residents of Kwara State continue to express concern over the escalating insecurity, calling on authorities to step up measures to curb the growing menace.

Patriotic Insights News will continue to monitor developments and provide updates as more information becomes available.
