Osun Govt Strengthens Healthcare with 4D Ultrasound Donation to Specialist Hospital

The Osun State Government has reinforced its commitment to improving healthcare delivery with the donation of a state-of-the-art 4D Ultrasound Machine to the State Specialist Hospital, Asubiaro, by the Osun Health Insurance Agency (OHIS).

Governor Ademola Adeleke, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Bobagunwa Teslim Igbalaye, described the donation as a “remarkable milestone in the advancement of healthcare delivery in Osun State.”

He noted that the gesture reflects the collective commitment of government agencies to improving the health and well-being of residents through modern medical services. “Our dedication to the health of our people has set a new standard for governance in Osun State. From revitalising healthcare facilities to strengthening health insurance schemes, we are ensuring quality healthcare is accessible to all,” he said.

Governor Adeleke commended the leadership of OHIS, particularly Chairman Dr. Muiwa Oladimeji and Executive Secretary Dr. Rasaq Akindele, for their innovative approach and tireless commitment, describing the agency as “a beacon of hope for thousands of enrollees across the state.”

He emphasized that the newly donated 4D Ultrasound Machine would enhance diagnostic precision, support early detection of medical conditions, and improve health outcomes for residents. “This advanced technology means better health outcomes, reduced medical costs, and improved quality of life for our people. It is another step forward in our mission to make Osun a model for healthcare excellence in Nigeria,” the Governor added.
