Ila Council Backs Adeleke on Road Project

Ila Council Backs Adeleke on Road Project

The Ila Orangun Traditional Council has hailed Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for the dualisation of Ila township road, describing the project as a landmark intervention.

The commendation came when Adeleke visited the Orangun of Ila, Oba Abdul Wahab Olukayode Oyedotun, to condole with him over the death of his senior wife, Olori Abosede Oyedotun.

Speaking for the monarch, the Chief Ejemu of Ila said the town was impressed with Adeleke’s performance, describing him as “a promise keeper.”

He noted that the road project, the first of its kind in Ila, has rekindled confidence in the governor’s development agenda.

“What many thought impossible has been made a reality by Governor Adeleke. He is a talk-and-do leader,” he said, pledging Ila’s support for the governor’s second-term bid.

Adeleke, after condoling with the royal family, also visited the family of the late PDP chieftain, Elder Kolapo Lawal, and inspected the dualisation project.

He charged contractors to maintain standards and deliver on schedule, stressing that his administration would not abandon any ongoing project.

“Our development agenda is for every town and village in Osun. By God’s grace and with your support, no part of the state will be left out,” Adeleke said.
