Adeleke Felicitates Owa of Obokun on Birthday, Praises Leadership, Innovation
The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has felicitated with the Owa of Obokun and Paramount Ruler of Ijeshaland, His Majesty Oba (Dr) Clement Adesuyi Hasstrup, Ajimoko III, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his leadership and contributions to societal development.
The statement, released by Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Spokesperson to the Osun State Governor, highlighted Governor Adeleke’s admiration for the monarch’s remarkable history of productivity and his efforts in creating economic opportunities through his diverse business ventures. The governor described Oba Hasstrup as “a monarch who inspires greatness for his subjects and the larger society.”
According to the statement, Governor Adeleke also recognised the Owa’s commitment to transforming the physical and social landscape of Ijeshaland, noting that the ruler has taken significant steps to bring meaningful progress and development to his domain since ascending the throne.
“I heartily celebrate the Paramount Ruler of Ijeshaland, Oba (Dr) Clement Adesuyi Hasstrup, Ajimoko III, on this auspicious occasion. Baba Owa is a classical example of leadership, focusing daily on efforts that uplift lives,” the statement quoted the governor as saying.
The statement added that from business to the revered throne of Owa Adimule, Oba Hasstrup’s dedication to excellence “inspires young people that with hard work and commitment, they can achieve their goals in life.”
Governor Adeleke also praised the monarch’s efforts in fostering peace and stability, noting that his openness to dialogue and humane leadership has created an environment of harmony and development within Ijeshaland.
He prayed for the Owa to enjoy a joyous celebration surrounded by family, subjects, and well-wishers, wishing him “more rewarding years in good health and sound mind in service to his subjects and Osun State as a whole.”
