Rivers High Court to Resume Full Sitting September 18

The Rivers State High Court will on Thursday, September 18, 2025, resume full judicial activities after the conclusion of its annual vacation.

The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor Amadi, had earlier directed judges of the High Court to proceed on vacation from Monday, July 21 to Wednesday, September 17.

During the break, a number of judges were designated as vacation judges to entertain urgent matters brought before the court.

In a statement issued yesterday, the Chief Registrar of the High Court, David Ihua Maduenyi, urged members of the public, litigants, and legal practitioners to take note of the resumption date and continue their normal business before the court.

The Registrar assured that all judicial processes will return to the regular schedule as the courts reopen.
