Ibadanland Awaits Visionary Reign of Oba Ladoja, Gbenga Daniel, Mimiko, Aregbesola Say

Former governors of Ogun, Osun, and Ondo States Senator Gbenga Daniel, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and Dr. Olusegun Mimiko have hailed the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rasidi Ladoja, as a transformative figure in both the business and political spheres.

The trio paid separate visits to Oba Ladoja at his Bodija residence in Ibadan on Monday, noting that his leadership as a former governor of Oyo State and former senator would bring fresh dynamism to the traditional institution in Oyo State and across Nigeria.

Senator Daniel highlighted Ladoja’s maturity and experience, saying, “Oba Ladoja is expected to provide the desired leadership because of his wealth of experience in the comity of Obas in the country. The nation is looking up to him to bring his experience to bear in his new role as a traditional ruler.”

Dr. Mimiko added, “We have come here because the Olubadan-designate is our fan. We admire his principles and leadership style. His effective leadership as a former governor and senator will undoubtedly guide him in his new assignment.”

Ogbeni Aregbesola, meanwhile, clarified that his visit was purely to pay homage. “I am not here for political reasons but to wish Oba Ladoja a successful reign as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland,” he said.

Oba Ladoja, in his remarks, called on politicians across party lines to unite for the progress of the country, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and national development.
