Uba Sani Rallies Kaduna Residents for Voter Registration
Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has directed full mobilisation of citizens for the forthcoming Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
The governor, in a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, said no eligible voter must be left out, describing the registration as vital to deepening democracy and inclusive governance.
Maiyaki said the Ministry of Information is working with the Ministry of Local Government Affairs, Bureau of Religious Affairs, and traditional as well as religious leaders to ensure awareness reaches every ward and community.
He added that the initiative reflects the governor’s people-centred leadership, stressing that citizen engagement remains the cornerstone of his administration.
“All stakeholders community leaders, youth groups, women organisations, and civic actors must rally behind this effort to make participation a collective success,” the statement said.
