Adeleke Appointed FRSC Special Marshals’ Grand Patron, Leads Forensic Guards Nigeria
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has been conferred with the titles of Grand Patron of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Special Marshals in Osun and Pioneer Patron of Forensic Guards Nigeria and Forensic Ambassadors Africa.
The twin investitures took place on Thursday at the Government House Banquet Hall, Osogbo, with top government officials, security personnel, and key stakeholders in attendance.
Speaking at the event, Adeleke described the honour as a responsibility. “Road safety is not just a policy matter but a human imperative. Behind every accident is a family in grief and a community in pain,” he said. He pledged to support the FRSC and all stakeholders in reducing preventable deaths and injuries on Nigerian roads, adding that he would promote enforcement and behavioural change.
Corps Commander Leye Adegboyega, Osun State Sector Commander of the FRSC, said Adeleke’s appointment reflected his dedication to protecting lives. “With Governor Adeleke’s leadership, we are confident of a downward trend in road accidents in Osun,” he said.
Ambassador Abraham Kwaghfan, Executive Secretary of Forensic Guards Nigeria and Forensic Ambassadors Africa, hailed Adeleke as a trailblazer whose patronage would strengthen advocacy in governance, security, and justice delivery.
Adeleke’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, said the investiture underscored the governor’s commitment to safeguarding lives, promoting justice, and supporting community development through strategic partnerships with security and forensic institutions.
